Who We Are
Hi, I’m Fiona, and I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember. My business is built on a love for breathing new life into well-worn clothes—whether it’s a simple repair or a creative transformation. I believe in sustainability, craftsmanship, and making garments last.
When I’m not stitching away for clients, I’m usually sewing just for fun—or out riding my horse, Woody, who’s as much a part of the team as I am!

Wedding Dress Adjustments
I entrusted Fiona with the task of altering my wedding dress and she did not disappoint. Being on the short side, Fiona needed to shorten the dress by a good few inches, which also required one of the lace panels to be removed. The straps also needed taking in by an inch. The result was outstanding. No one at the wedding knew it had been altered and it even stood up to the scrutiny of my mother !!

Keepsake Cushion
Having won a rosette and sash with my horse at a national championship, I wanted to have a keepsake of the occasion that wasn’t just displaying them. So I asked Fiona if she could create something out of them both and she came up with sewing them together on a cushion. I was over the moon with the finished item and the quality of work and creativity was superb. It has received numerous compliments. I can’t thank her enough!
Also my puppy decided to take a liking to it and decided to have a chew (even though she had a choice of 9 others!) of the bottom of it. Yet again, Fiona worked her magic in repairing it to look just as good!
Prom Dress Fitting
I can’t thank Fiona at BeesWing enough for the alterations she made to my daughter’s prom dress. The dress required the length adjusting and she did an incredible job. Fiona was professional, kind and gave great advice. The attention to detail was flawless and we could not have been happier with the result – highly recommended!
